Join our friends at the North End Community Renewal Corporation for their Annual General Meeting!

Update: Thanks to everyone for their love, thoughts, and ideas. Based on some of your feedback we're working on a longer term solution to help prevent future events like this. We will certainly keep you posted as we move forward!

We arrived this beautiful Monday morning to find a heartbreaking site. All but one of our production vehicles had had their windows smashed, two tires and rims had been stolen, stolen tools, broken fence, and broken trailer.

While this is bad news for BUILD, and will hurt our bottom line, it is a reminder to us for why we do the work that we do. BUILD's work in the community, creating stable employment, training those with multiple employment barriers, decreases crime in Winnipeg. We will continue to work hard to make economic opportunity for marginalized folks until things like this are history.

So disappointing. Crowdfunding to cover costs? You have a lot of supporters in the community who would love to help you out, as one small gesture of thanks for the incredible work you guys do every day.

Your response to this incident is inspiring, Shaun!

Ouch. Community fundraising event??

So sorry to read this. As always I am impressed by your attitude Shaun, keep doing good work.

That's is absolutely horrible and so needless. I'm sorry this happened

A sure fix is install a huge lighting facing the yard will slow it down alot. More lighting tbe better.

Sad! So sad...

Scumbags

Totally uncalled for

How sad.

Oh man. Sorry team.

Awww Heck ☹️

This is awful.

Is the security cams working?

Let's hope karma gets them
